Jamaica Street BBC Scotland sketch series commission

BBC Scotland has commissioned Gusman Productions to produce a series of online sketches featuring Glasgow-based sketch duo Jamaica Street, starring Pierce Higgins and Lewis Reid.

The rising TikTok stars have been creating their own content for the platform for 18 months and have amassed an incredible 120,000 followers and 18 million views for their unique set of laugh-out-loud sketches. They have created a real buzz about their comedy content on TikTok and are one of the most exciting Scottish sketch acts to come through social media in the last few years.

The online sketch series, which will play out across BBC Scotland’s social media channels, will go live towards the summer.
